The summer of 2016 saw the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrine 8 more members, which included quarterback Brett Favre, wide receiver Marvin Harrison and offensive tackle Orlando Pace. It brought the total number of members in the HOF to 303. Many of those elected were no-doubters. They were players who’ve done more than enough to secure their place in Canton. But it is easy to find some names on the list that are highly debatable. It’s not that they weren’t great. It’s that they might be lowering the standards of an honor that many like us look at as invaluable.
Obviously every fan or critic or analyst won’t agree with these choices, but here are ten players we think should not have been selected:
