10 Players That Shouldn’t Have Made The NFL Hall of Fame – Marcus Allen

Marcus Allen has two things on his resume that got him into the Hall of Fame: a) winning a Super Bowl with one incredible performance, and b) career longevity. Those two attributes seem to be the main reasons the Pro Football Hall of Fame decided to induct Allen in 2003. He did have 3 consecutive years of rushing over 1,000 yards very early on in his career, but he would never top 90o yards in any other season, even though he played SIXTEEN of them. Lasting longer than most RBs in the league is the main reason he was able to bring his career rushing yards to a total good enough for 12th all-time.
